Chapter 401: Great Mage Bandit

With the arrival of a Great Mage, Claude was about to focus on his defense, but before he could even do that, he already saw a foot threatening to smash him to death:

He tried to raise his sword to block, but he was not fast enough. The foot landed directly on his chest, almost fully caving his ribcage.

His eyes trembled in pain while his whole body was slammed against the ground. That single kick alone caused a deep crater with a radius of twenty meters to appear.

The bandit camp has been ravaged beyond recognition due to the magic that the mages cast.

Cough! Cough!

Claude, who was still inside the crater, coughed out a mouthful of fresh blood. Even when fighting against the peak Senior Mages, he didnt receive any injury. The bandits werent even able to touch him much less injure him.

But now, with the arrival of a Great Mage, he was injured for the first time, and that was just from a single kick!

Claude felt like someone had thrown a boulder at his chest due to the damage he had received. Even the ten subordinates encircling the bandit camp who saw his state cant help but worry.

That was a Great Mage! A mage far more powerful than even peak Senior Mages!

It was already unbelievable that Claude, with his mid-cycle Senior Mage cultivation realm, could kill and defeat multiple peak Senior Mages. However, that should be his limit.

There was a great realm difference between him and the bandits Grand Leader. No matter how perverted and outrageous his power was, peak Senior Mages should be the limit.

Master, please be safe!

Claudes subordinates can only pray for his safety. Even if they want to try to help, in front of a Great Mage, a single lift of a finger would be enough to wipe them out.

They might just further endanger Claude rather than help him.

As for Claude, he didnt have the time to catch his breath as he saw the bandit Grand Leader jumping at him, ready to break his bones with his foot again.

Claude hurriedly tried to stand, but he found the air nearby becoming heavier, which made it hard for him to stand and move.

You will stay there the Great Mage said coldly, intending to kill Claude as soon as possible.

However, he still underestimated Claude.

Arghhh!!!

Claude roared, mobilizing every ounce of strength he could muster just to barely dodge that foot by rolling to the side.

However, he was not safe from the aftershocks of a Great Mages attack, and the force threw his body away like a broken doll.

Hmph, you wouldnt be as lucky the second time the Great Mage snorted. He didnt expect that Claude would be able to dodge his attack.

Claude remained silent, but he forcefully recovered his footing while he was still in the air. He activated his innate magic Yin-Yang Field once again, but while it did manage to artificially elevate his realm to the 9th cycle of the Senior Rank, the bandit Grand Leader still remained at the Great Mage Rank.

Indeed, there was a large difference between a Senior and a Great Mage.

Useless tricks the bandit sneered before sending out blades of condensed wind that Claude was barely able to block.

His sword managed to block the wind blades not solely of his own power, but also thanks to the materials that made up the sword.

As a Noblesse Artifact, a mere Great Mage cannot even put a scratch in it, much less break the sword.

Still, although the sword was undamaged, Claude himself was not. The remaining energy from the dispersed wind blades cut open wounds all over his body.

His blood dyed the ground with a red color, and even his flesh had become visible to the naked eye.

Lets see how long you could last!

Seeing Claude surviving multiple attacks from him displeased the Great Mage. The enemy was just a Senior Mage, who gave him the right to defend?

On the Great Mages feet, a magic circle formed. The surrounding air grew stronger, sharper, and even more violent.

The camp of the bandits was shredded as ten towering tornadoes appeared. Each of these tornadoes was as tall as fifty meters and as thick as ten meters.

They were even larger than the three-headed giant bear!

The force behind the tornadoes caused the fabric of space to be torn. Spatial fragments devastated the land, and even the peak Senior Mages had to hurriedly move away to save their lives.

Even Claudes subordinates who were distant away had to hurriedly flee. The tornadoes and the spatial storms range were just too large.

Back in the Earth realm, 6th fusion mages who are just equivalent to peak apprentices can also cause the fabric of space to tear.

In Eclipsion Realm, a realm with complete and intact laws, even the power of a Senior Mage, far superior compared to apprentices, was not strong enough to cause a tear in space.

In this realm, only the power that reached the Great Mage rank can tear space apart.

The large tornadoes, even from a distance, can be clearly seen. The citizens of the nearby town might have also seen these towering tornadoes and the spatial storm they caused.

At this point, Claude knew that just by using his own power, he wouldnt be able to defeat a Great Mage. He can use his Noblesse Artifact, and it would instantly kill even a Great Mage, but he didnt do that.

He still wanted to try and solve this using his own power.

Claude closes his eyes, and the bandit thought that it was him accepting his death, which caused the bandit to smile cruelly.

This guy has singlehandedly caused the almost complete annihilation of the Black Bear Bandits. Even death was too kind a fate for him.

However, the bandit leader couldnt be more wrong if he thinks that Claude was simply accepting his death.

No, that was far from the case. Claude is not accepting his death, in fact, he even planned to use his own power today to kill a Great Mage!

The Earth Embryo inside Claude churned and became more active as he started to mobilize the realms power.

This was the first time that he had tried to use the realms power, and Claude didnt know how strong he would become.

Boom!

As Claude used the power of his internal world, his blood vessels burst. He bled from all seven orifices, and even his soul had to endure an overwhelming pressure.

Clearly, with the paltry realm of a Senior Mage, Claude is currently not strong enough to use his internal worlds power for long.

Still, he could at least survive making one move, and he stared at the Great Mage with menacing eyes.

This what kind of power is this!

At this point, even the Great Mage was terrified. Claudes realm hasnt changed. It was still at the false 9th cycle, but his aura grew stronger and more powerful.

His presence alone caused the space to tremble.

However, for a Great Mage to fear a Senior Mage is unacceptable, and the bandit waved his hand angrily as if he was humiliated

With his control, all ten towering tornadoes approached Claude, causing the space to be battered and bruised.

In return, Claude gathered all of his current power, including the power he could muster from his internal world, into his sword.

The sword shook violently, the streaks of bloody lightning swimming on it growing thicker and more potent.

After pouring everything he could, Claude made a single slashing motion, and it was as if the world itself turned silent.

He sent a single lightning sword slash, and everything in its path was obliterated.

The ten tornadoes were cut in half before being forcefully dispersed. The sword slash didnt even seem to weaken at all as it continued, cutting the Great Mage in half.

Even his body was not left safe. The lingering lightning in the area where he was bisected turned his whole body into ashes.

The sword slash even had remaining power that engulfed all the surviving bandits, killing and turning their corpses into ashes.

The spatial tear grew larger as the sword slash continued, only stopping when it destroyed a half-kilometer area.

In the area where the sword slash went through, not trees or even other lives were left behind. Only death, devastation, and broken pieces of space.

Claudes subordinates, who had already fled fa,r had their jaws fall on the ground.

This was this destruction really caused by their Master?

A mere mid-cycle Senior Mage exploded with a power that effortlessly killed a Great Mage, multiple Senior Mages, and caused a spatial storm in a half-kilometer area?

Just how strong is Claude, and how did a mid-cycle Senior Mage even come to possess such power? This was simply illogical and incomprehensible!

Their common sense has been shattered over and over again.
